Daart Studio's Summer Portfolio Intensive guides you in building a powerful, standout portfolio for top art schools. [PHASE 1] Portfolio Planning & Complex Still Life - Completion of one advanced complex still life drawing - Development of a structured sketchbook (croquis studies) - Concept development framework - 1:1 individual idea meetings [PHASE 2] Individual Portfolio Painting - One acrylic or oil painting on canvas - Concept reinforcement artwork development - Daily idea sketches and concept expansion - Mid-program critique and individualized feedback - Artist statement writing guidance [PHASE 3] Mixed Media Portfolio Project - Completion of one mixed media work - Final artist statement completion - Final critique and personalized evaluation - Professional artwork photography session ! Please Note: The total number of completed works may vary depending on the student's pace, the complexity and scale of the concepts, and the specific mediums chosen for each project. Cancellation Policy
Enrollment Terms & Policies 1. Semester Enrollment & Payment Daart Studio operates on a semester-based enrollment system: 17 weeks in the Fall and 18 weeks in the Spring. Enrollment reserves a student's place for the entire semester. Total semester tuition is divided into five equal monthly payments. The first payment is due at registration, and subsequent payments are automatically processed on the 1st of each month. Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of the number of class sessions in a particular month. 2. Withdrawal & Refund Policy Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to hello@daartstudio.com at least 30 days before the next scheduled payment date. Because Daart Studio operates on a semester-based enrollment system, withdrawal is not permitted after 50% of the semester has been completed. No refunds or credits will be issued for the remainder of the semester. Therefore, withdrawal is not permitted beginning on the date of the third installment payment. For the Fall 2026 semester, the final withdrawal request date is October 1, 2026. Students who submit a withdrawal request on or before this date may continue attending classes through October. No withdrawals, refunds, or credits will be granted after this date. 3. Make-Up Class Policy Students who provide at least 24 hours' notice of an absence may receive one make-up class credit per calendar month, subject to availability. Make-up classes are offered in a regular class for the same or a similar age group, and the lesson or curriculum may differ from the missed class. Make-up credits must be used within four weeks of the missed class and may not be extended or carried over. Make-up requests must be submitted by a parent or guardian to hello@daartstudio.com at least 24 hours in advance. Daart Studio determines the date and class placement for make-up classes based on availability. If a student misses a scheduled make-up class, the credit is forfeited. 4. Registration Fee A non-refundable Registration Fee is charged at the time of enrollment to secure the student's place and process registration.
