Service Description

Grades 6+ June 29 - July 24, 2026 Monday-Friday | 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM The Summer Foundation program is the definitive prerequisite for the Portfolio Intensive. By strengthening your artistic fundamentals in a focused environment, we help you secure a head start and build the confidence necessary to lead in advanced portfolio tracks. [PHASE 1] The Bedrock: Precision & Control - Tool mastery - proper use of pencil and eraser - Line control and pressure training - 10-step value scale, hatching and blending - Basic geometric form shading - Accuracy training (symmetry and grid method practice) [PHASE 2] Materiality: Mastering Surface & Light - Metal, glass, fabric, and wood textures - Simple still life (white drapery + objects) - Transparent materials and natural objects - Mid-program review and critique [PHASE 3] Spatial Intelligence: Composition & Depth - Structural analysis (shapes into forms) - 3-5 object still life composition - Composition and layout practice - Light source and shadow control -Visual Research &. Concept Sketching [FINAL WEEK] Final Project & Development - 1:1 mentoring for final project concept - Creative Application - Individual portfolio-style drawing project - Student progress review and feedback - Parent progress report available ! Please Note: The total number of completed works may vary depending on the student's pace, the complexity and scale of the concepts, and the specific mediums chosen for each project. Personalized Outcomes - 1:1 Mentoring: Individualized direction for a final portfolio-style project. - Progress Reports: Direct feedback for students and progress reports for parents. - Professional Documentation: Includes a professional photography session of completed works.

Cancellation Policy

Attendance, Make-Up Classes, and Refund Policy 1. Absences and Make-Up Classes In order to receive a make-up class credit, absences must be reported at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Make-up classes are limited to one (1) per month per student. Earned make-up credits may only be used during the designated Make-Up Day in the month following the absence. Parents/guardians are responsible for reserving the make-up class at least 24 hours in advance. Make-up classes cannot be carried over to subsequent months. If a student misses a scheduled make-up class, no additional make-up class or credit will be provided. 2. Registration Cancellation and Refunds A full refund will be issued only if cancellation is made within 24 hours of registration and at least 30 days prior to the program start date. No refunds or class credits will be issued if: Cancellation occurs more than 24 hours after registration, or Cancellation occurs within 30 days of the program start date. 3. Withdrawal from Ongoing Classes To discontinue enrollment in an ongoing program, a minimum of one (1) month advance written notice is required. Failure to provide proper notice will result in the following month’s tuition being charged in full.
